CONTRIBUTE TO TREW CULTURE
Imagine what a harmonious world it could be if every single person, both young and old shared a little of what he is good at doing. - Quincy Jones
You might be asking yourself, why should I contribute to Trew Culture (or not…). Either way, we are committed to sharing everything we have to offer the culture we love so much - Hiphop & Jazz. Quincy Jones who for decades to the present, has been a bridge generationally and musically to our culture stated once, “Bebop and hip-hop, in so many ways, they're connected. A lot of rappers remind me so much of bebop guys in terms of improvisation, beats and rhymes.” Like Mr. Jones, we recognize the power of bringing the old with the new; creating hiphop music while maintaining a high musicality by incorporating elements of all Black American Music.
With that vision in mind and the precision to execute our ideas, one of the most important ways to support Trew Culture is through monetary contributions. Call us old school, but we believe you should be able to enjoy our music and other content ad-free and whenever you want. The streaming game is cool and we appreciate platforms like Apple Music & Spotify but, “trewth” be told” it’s not really an effective way to support artists. By becoming one of our Patreon Members, you will be contributing to Trew Culture’s growth & development in the most direct way. Here are some of the following ways you help us continue to be great:
Music Production - includes paying for studio sessions, recording equipment for in-house sessions, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies to stay on the cutting edge & provide our listeners with the best content and more.
Live Performance - includes paying for rehearsal spaces to prepare for performances, performance gear so we can provide our concert goers with the best experience, transportation to & from performances that occur outside & throughout the New York Area, creating special events that are free to the public and more.
Trew Culture Podcast - with the development of our Trew Culture Podcast in 2019 we will be inviting guest speakers to join us. We want to make our podcast an ad-free way for our Trew Culture community (you!) to learn more about the artists, musicians & producers. To follow debates, conversations and dialogue centered on bringing “trewth” to the culture and more.
Trew Culture Fashion Apparel & more - we plan to create an extensive product line of TrewCulture clothing, vinyls, cassettes and other fun ways to enjoy Trew Culture beyond the experience of listening to music.
These are just a few ways in which your membership with Trew Culture will not only continue to bring life to our community but will allow us to provide more & more for you to benefit from everyday. As Quincy Jones eloquently put it, “Imagine what a harmonious world it could be if every single person, both young and old shared a little of what he is good at doing.” Thats our vision - to share a little of what we are good at doing, bringing truth to culture. #staytrew
